Superheroes In God’s Kingdom

Humans long for more. We love the idea of a super hero — a human or part-human that has extraordinary powers to be more than mortal man.

It goes all the way back to the garden when God gave Adam and Eve as much as they could possibly need, yet they wanted more. After words with satan, they were convinced the apple was good and would make them more than they were — more like God.

Ah, the great deceiver.

But there is only one who can return us to the place where we can dwell among the great and powerful and merciful God. And he has already done this for us. Christ Jesus, our redeemer.
